Death Grips have blamed their label after the website hosting new album 'NO LOVE DEEP WEB' was shut down.
Yesterday morning (October 2nd) Death Grips pointed fans towards a new link. The Sacramento group broke cover, posting their new album – the band's second of 2012 – online. 'NO LOVE DEEP WEB' was a typically unrelenting sonic assault, and seemed to catch their label by surprise.
Online for just 24 hours, the site hosting the free download of 'NO LOVE DEEP WEB' was shut down in the early hours of this morning. Pitchfork report that Death Grips have blamed their label, with the band posting on Twitter: "our sight just got shut down- BASIC AS FUCK."
Epic, though, have denied any intrusion. So who's to blame? Leave your thoughts in the comment section…
