Dear Reader will release her new single ‘Monkey (You Can Go Home)’ on January 23rd.
Real name Cheri MacNeil, Dear Reader was brought up to view life in a certain way. Engaged with Christianity, the songwriter’s faith began to collapse recently – a metaphysical event that shifted the way she approaches life.
Fuelling her really-rather-good new album ‘Idealistic Animals’ the singer is set to return to these shores for a one off show later this month. Taking place on January 16th, Dear Reader will launch her new album as part of a joint show with fellow City Slang signing Laura Gibson.
Ahead of this, Dear Reader will release new single ‘Monkey (You Can Go Home)’ on January 23rd. To celebrate, City Slang filmed an unusual video in the songwriter’s adopted home in Berlin.
