LA two-piece Deap Vally will part after their upcoming tour.
The duo are long-time Clash favourites, matching desert rock to feral blues. Releasing a string of acclaimed albums, Deap Vally are a testament to dogged independence.
Sadly, the LA duo will split this year. Re-tooling their cult album as ‘SISTRIONIX 2.0’, a new double LP has been made available, including previously unreleased covers, re-recordings of limited release b-sides and rarities and more.
The band comment…
‘SISTRIONIX’ is just classic Deap Vally. It’s so pure and raw. It really encapsulates an era — an era of dank, yeasty backstage rooms across the UK, of the endorphin rush of that first wave of success, of youthful drunken, wild nights, of the worldly adventures and the newness of it all.
A final gesture, Deap Vally will then complete their final batch of tour dates, in addition to selling off a decade’s worth of stage gear. The online pop-up sale runs between February 1st to 7th on their official website.
