Listen while you can...
Hype Williams

Even amidst the fog of speculation with which they normally exist, 2013 was an extremely strange year for the Hype Williams project.

Inga Copeland and Dean Blunt left the project behind, choosing to focus on their own work under a number of alter egos. Dean Blunt unveiled 'The Redeemer' last year, an album (of sorts) which was every bit as dense and creative as the best Hype Williams work.

Now the producer has delivered a new mixtape. 'Skin Fade' arrives online a few moments ago, with precious little fanfare and no tracklisting.

Folk singer Joanne Robertson is a regular collaborator, while the woozy, Cocteau Twins-esque ambience is tempered by the usual array of bizarre spoken word snippets.
