DC, Blanco Align On ‘The Curb’

Ice cold rap from two pivotal South London figures...

DC and Blanco combine on excellent new single ‘The Curb’.

It’s been an incredible come-up for Lagos-born, South London raised DC. His debut EP ‘In The Loop’ was graced by the one and only Kucks, while production came courtesy of studio maverick TSB.

Since then, he’s supported J Hus on tour, and delivered a landmark set at Wireless festival.

Returning with something new, DC aligns with a fellow South London force. Blanco is one of the best around, rising through the drill ranks before broadening his sound.

Two singular talents, ‘The Curb’ is an ice-cold return, dipping into the spartan sonics of grime before overhauling it from a unique perspective.

DC says…

“I feel like with ‘the Curb’ it came out exactly how I wanted it to you know. From the Blanco feature to the feel and vibe of the tune. I wanted something with a bit of tempo to it, I speak about the grime influences I’ve had coming up and this track was one of those ones where I wanted to tap into that. Even down to the back and forth between me and Blanco, it was all an ode to that influence.”

Tune in now.
