David Pajo will release new Papa M album ‘Ballads Of Harry Houdini’ later this year.
The guitarist is a titan of modern music, his role on those seminal Slint recordings effectively writing the post-rock rulebook. Collaborating widely, he gradually forged a group named M, with Papa M – Pajo himself – at the helm.
A two-decade run has followed, with new album ‘Ballads Of Harry Houdini’ set to land on November 22nd.
Available to pre-order now, the new record is his first since the all-acoustic ‘A Broke Moon Rise’ some six years ago.
Released through Drag City, the new album boasts six songs, with new single ‘Ode To Mark White’ out now – check it out below.
