Everyone has an idol, somebody they look up to.
As an aspiring punk kid, Dave Grohl took inspiration from Ian MacKaye. Penning the Minor Threat/Fugazi musician a fan letter, it seems that the innocent missive has recently been uncovered.
Ian MacKaye found the letter, sending it on to Dave Grohl. Now a globally recognised rock star, the Nirvana drummer turned Foo Fighters frontman posted a segment of the letter online.
