It's already common knowledge that Dave Grohl is one of the nicest men in rock, but it seems now that he's also one of the toughest.
Foo Fighters played a festival in Sweden last night (June 12th) and, when attempting an acrobatic leap, Dave Grohl plummeted from the stage.
Paramedics rushed to the singer's aid, and it seems that the landing broke his leg. The band played covers while the frontman received treatment, before returning to complete the set.
"I think I just broke my leg," Grohl said. "I'm going to go to hospital. I'm going to fix my leg. And then I'm going to come back. You have my promise right now that the Foo Fighters – we're going to come back and finish the show."
And finish they did. Performing while seated, Dave Grohl's leg was heavily wrapped in bandages. What a trooper!
Departing Sweden, the singer thanked fans by posting an x-ray of his broken leg on Instagram. (via NME)
