Daughter has shared new song ‘Party’.
The band have emerged from the shadows, completing work on the follow-up to their 2016 album ‘Not To Disappear’. Now spread across different cities but still rooted in Bristol, the trio convene to build new album ‘Stereo Mind Game’.
Out on April 7th, the latest preview is now online. New song ‘Party’ is a deeply atmospheric return, driven forwards by Elena Tonra’s empathetic vocal.
Shaded in shadow, ‘Party’ has a twilight feel, flipping between the ecstasy of release and the fear of truly surrendering to abandon. She sings: “I fear the time wipe out / for fear that I’d forget / the worst night of my life / or even worse, the best…”
Tiff Pritchett returns to direct the video for ‘Party’ – tune in below.
