Dark Horses Line Up Debut Album

'Black Music' due on October 29th

Dark Horses are set to release their Richard Fearless produced debut album ‘Black Music’ on October 29th.

You now you’re not going to be in for a nice relaxing listen when a band list their drummer’s role as ‘Percussion/Chains’. Such is the case with Dark Horses, whose debut album ‘Black Music’ is set to drop next month.

Based in Brighton, the band’s needle-to-the-red take on the shoegaze template bears comparison to American cousins such as A Place To Bury Strangers or even the heavier moments of Ringo Deathstarr.

However there’s a deeply British sensibility at work here. Death In Vegas stalwart Richard Fearless stands at the controls, with Canadian imprint Last Gang set to usher the full length onto record shelves.

Due out on October 22nd, here’s new single ‘Alone’.
