The Damien Hirst designed statue for this year's instalment of the BRIT Awards has been unveiled - check it out below.
Perhaps the biggest music awards ceremony in the country, the BRITs are almost upon us yet again and as usual there's a twist.
Back in 2011 the blank canvas trophy was given a makeover by Dame Vivienne Westwood, while last year Sir Peter Blake re-envisioned the gong.
Now Damien Hirst has stepped into the breach. Re-working the trophy for 2013, the British artist has added a sprinkling of imagination, stating: "I am honoured to be asked to design this year's statue, it has become such an iconic award, I love the BRITs."
Check out the trophy below.
The BRIT Awards 2013 launch tonight (January 10th) at the Savoy Hotel in London. Critics Choice winner Tom Odell is set to perform live, while Jessie Ware is also set to appear at the event which will see the full nominations for 2013 unveiled.
The BRIT Awards 2013 ceremony takes place on February 20th.
