Italian star Damiano David has covered Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars single ‘Die With A Smile’.
The musician rose to fame as a key component with Maneskin, achieving global fame with their theatrical pop-edged rock. A spectacular live force, Damiano has sought to dial in to different aspects of his psyche with his current solo adventures.
New single ‘Born With A Broken Heart’ shows the songwriter at his most vulnerable, commenting:
When I wrote this song I was getting out of a very dark place, I was feeling emotionless and I was afraid that I had lost my ability to feel things, either good or bad. This was happening while I was starting the most meaningful relationship of my life and the fear of not being capable or ready was big.
Hitting North America, Damiano performed on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, before dropping past SiriusXM.
As is tradition, the radio station asked Damiano David to perform a cover – so he opted for a bravura take on ‘Die With A Smile’.
