Daft Punk are set to expand recent album 'Random Access Memories' into a full box set.
One of the year's biggest selling albums, 'Random Access Memories' saw Daft Punk make their long awaited return. An admittedly patchy set, it's highs – notably soaraway single 'Get Lucky' – rank amongst the finest pop music of the past decade.
If you're a fan then Daft Punk have a surprise for you. The French duo have expanded 'Random Access Memories' into a massive box set, containing plenty of otherwise unavailable material.
Presented in a cloth-bound, gold-foiled 13″x13″ box, the package contains special edition 180 gram double vinyl with gold and silver foil labels, alongside a 56 page hardcover book. Alongside this, the box set will include a ten inch vinyl recording of an interview with Giorgio Moroder, which was used as source material for 'Giorgio by Moroder'.
In keeping with their technological themes, Daft Punk also include USB drives containing the album’s audio and video components. (via FACT)
