Daft Punk Have Indeed Registered A New Album

Exciting times.

Reports are emerging that Daft Punk have indeed registered a new studio album for release this year.

It's probably the worst kept secret in dance music. Daft Punk have been working on a new album for some time, with frequent collaborator Nile Rodgers using his blog to keep fans updated with a few studio vignettes.

Recently, reports emerged that Daft Punk had begun to put plans in place for a release. Now it seems that this speculation is rooted in fact, with the EDM Twitter account helping to leak a few details. (via FACT)

Sony Music Entertainment have seemingly registered the fourth Daft Punk studio album with music rights agency PPL. A screengrab is currently circulating around the web, demonstrating that the as yet untitled album will contain 13 tracks and last 74:40.
