Legendary lipstick wearing gothrockers The Cure are set to release their new single “Freakshow” today (Friday 13th), it has been announced.
The Cure have a massive and passionate following, many of whom regard may well regard Friday 13th the way ordinary society regards Christmas Day. Led by iconic frontman Robert Smith the group are preparing to unleash their as yet untitled thirteenth album on the unsuspecting public, and are releasing a single on the 13th day of every month until the album’s release date of September 13th. Spooky.
Just like the previous Cure single “The Only One”, “Freakshow” will be available as a CD, 7 inch and download single backed by an exclusive B-side that won’t appear on the album.
Previous single “The Only One” boasted “NY Trip” as the flipside and inspired by this Lastminute.com are set to cheer up the band’s fans with a great competition.
