CSS Tour Film Due

Split with Tilly & The Wall

Brazilian dance poppers CSS are set to release a new tour film, which also features Tilly And The Wall.

Although South America is a hot bed of new music, due to geography few groups ever manage to achieve popularity outside of their homeland. Bursting out of Brazil, CSS became a global sensation.

Taking their name from a Beyonce quote – ‘I’m tired of being sexy’ – the band’s filthy dance pop mixed banging beats with lyrics about naughty night time activities. The group’s track ‘Let’s Make Love (And Listen To Death From Above)’ was a dancefloor smash, attracting a stunning remix from Soulwax.

Releasing their debut album in 2006 the band returned last year with a batch of new material. Still as bright as a neon jumper, CSS released ‘Donkey’ to cheers from their fans.

A stunning live act, the band recently completed a tour of the United States. Taking Saddle Creek residents Tilly And The Wall along for the ride the jaunt saw the two groups play to ecstatic crowds.

Captured for posterity on film, the tour’s highlights will be released as ‘CSS & Tilly And The Wall Appearing Live Tonight!’. Running to 73 minutes the soon to be released film will feature live footage and behind the scenes action.

The film is due to be released on January 12th, with White Light Media handling distribution. ‘CSS & Tilly And The Wall Appearing Live Tonight!’ was directed by noted film maker Rob Walters, who captures the excitement of being on tour with two hot new acts.

‘CSS & Tilly And The Wall Appearing Live Tonight!’ is due to be released later this year.
