Recording Commitments Interfere

Canadian 8-bit tag team Crystal Castles have cancelled their autumn UK tour due to recording commitments, it has been announced.

The duo have become one of the most controversial acts on the planet, with the 8-bit community alleging they 'stole' elements of their songs and their Glastonbury performance being cut short by security.

Crystal Castles will, however, honor they commitments at a number of festivals including Reading and Leeds as well as a standalone date at London's Electric Ballroom. The pair will also play selected warm up dates in Manchester Academy (August 26th), Leeds Cockpit (August 27th) and Birmingham Academy (August 28th).

The cancelled shows include:

September 3rd - Sheffield, Leadmill
September 4th - Leeds, Cockpit
September 7th - Coventry, Kasbah
September 9th - Nottingham, Rescue Rooms
September 10th - Bristol, Thekla
September 12th - Birmingham, Academy 2
September 13th - Manchester, Academy 2
September 14th - Preston, 53 Degrees
September 16th - Brighton, Concorde
September 17th - Cambridge, Junction
