Some of the most celebrated musicians in American rock history are set to tell their own story on the new Crosby, Stills And Nash DVD ‘Legends Of The Canyon’.
A far as pedigree goes Crosby, Stills And Nash had a backstory to rival any other act around. David Crosby was an outlaw from The Byrds, while Stephen Stills was a songwriting force in seminal group Buffalo Springfield. Graham Nash however, was the sole Englishmen in the band and led The Hollies to global success.
Together, the three songwriters would dominate the musical landscape of the 70s and beyond. Now celebrating their 40th anniversary the group paved the way for the Laurel Canyon singer-songwriter movement yet had their own unique sound.
Crosby, Stills And Nash remain hugely popular. The new DVD will tell the story of the group from their origins to massive success and beyond. Containing new interviews with movers and shakers from the time, the DVD is narrated by celebrated rock photographer Henry Diltz. A close friend of the group, Diltz contributes exclusive shots and film of the group.
The band are set to play some very rare dates in Britain this summer. As well as a handful of headline performances Crosby, Stills And Nash have been booked for Glastonbury this summer. Intriguingly, Neil Young is also on the bill leading to rumours of a collaboration – Young has frequently worked with the band.
Crosby, Stills and Nash’s new DVD ‘Legends Of The Canyon’ is released on July 13th.
