Dance duo Crookers are set to count down the days until their debut album drops with a free download.
Dance music has enjoyed some ups and downs in the opening decade of the 21st century. At first eclipsed by the monolithic indie popularity of The Strokes and sundry other newcomers electronic music has hit back to end the decade on a high.
With dubstep becoming a global form and electro house representing the mainstream, dance music is equipped to step up a gear. In the past year alone sales of guitars have plummeted with kids flooding back into clubland.
2010 is set to be dominated with many new talents, with none more potent than Crookers. The dance duo have lit up the music scene with a series of cheeky remixes, melting bass heavy electro house together with a wicked sense of humour.
Currently putting the finishing touches to their debut album, Crookers are due to release the long player early next year. ‘Tons Of Friends’ is due to drop on March 8th but the duo have offered fans a stunning preview.
Featuring Belgian beat boffins Soulwax alongside Mixhell the track ‘We Love Animals’ has already become a massive dancefloor draw. A heavy fixture in the group’s live set Crookers have been storming clubs across the globe.
Now the generous souls have decided to give away the track for free from their official website. Download ‘We Love Animals’ by clicking HERE.
Of course, anxious fans desperate to get hold of their copy of Crookers debut album won’t have to wait long. Pre-orders are already in place with fans who get in early set to receive two free downloads immediately.
