Creeper have shared new song ‘Teenage Sacrifice’.
The band recently played a surprise set at Download Festival, and will release their new album ‘Sanguivore’ on October 13th. The follow-up to their Top 10 record ‘Sex, Death & The Infinite Void’, the album will be accompanied by a full scale UK tour.
Bloodied and unbowed, new single ‘Teenage Sacrifice’ is part of the overall album arc, as well as being a riveting, raunchy slice of emo-tinged rock in its own right. Creeper at their most venomous, it’s an intense, gothic inclined piece of alt songwriting.
Produced by Tom Dalgety, it is accompanied by a blood-thirsty video that introduces the character of Mercy, a central figure in ‘Sanguivore’. Frontman Will Gould comments…
“The song introduces Mercy, the protagonist of the ‘Sanguivore’ narrative. She’s deceptively innocent yet savagely violent, and her ability to make people fall under her spell is just one indication that Mercy is not all that she seems…”
Billy Howard Price and Jacek Zmarz direct the clip, which you can check out below.
