Mouthy Mancs The Courteeners are set to release a very special digital-only live EP of an upcoming hometown show at the historic Apollo venue.
The band have had a meteoric rise since forming in 2006. Lead singer Liam Fray’s on stage charisma (and his cutting wit on other band’s ability) have made The Courteeners one of the most talked about new band’s in the UK.
Debut album ‘St. Jude’ was chock full of indie anthems, and breached the UK top ten earlier this year. Produced by Stephen Street, it marked The Courteeners out as one of the top young bands in the country.
The band release their latest single, ‘That Kiss’ today (October 6th). A jovial romp, it shows the group to be the rosy cheeked melody merchants we all long for. The new live EP will be recorded at a gig in the Manchester Apollo on October 9th, and will be available digitally the very next day.
The Courteeners will release a new digital only live EP on October 10th.
