COUCOU CHLOE is returning once more brand new single ‘ICE CASTLES’.
The French-born visionary fuses the intimate listening experience with club spaces, drawing together a sound that is bold and future-facing. Inviting the glitching, bass-heavy production of Kai Whiston, ‘ICE CASTLES’ contrasts CHLOE’s moody, subdued delivery against Matt OX’s audacious rhymes, resulting in a high-energy, dynamic collaboration.
The track marks yet another step towards upcoming project ‘FEVER DREAM’, set to drop on 27th September. Approaching her material from a more introspective angle, the tracklist teases features from Eartheater, 654AR, Woesum, Brodinski, Tony Seltzer and more. Sonically, the likes of ‘DRIFT’ and ‘ICE CASTLES’ align themselves with CHLOE’s previous work, solidifying the artist’s distinct relationship with underground dancefloors.
Speaking on ‘FEVER DREAM’, COUCOU CHLOE details: “The inspiration behind the new music/project is life. The more you grow and understand living and the complexities of your emotions, the more you can express that. Almost everything I’ve experienced has become material for me to share.”
Tune in now.
