New York duo Corbu seem to exist in some dream-like state, teetering on the bridge between the waking world and unconsciousness.
Thoughts, memories drift past, luminescent glimpses of colour that seem to linger long after the music has passed.
Corbu will release their debut album 'Crayon Soul' on August 5th, with frontman Jonathan Graves commenting:
“Dreams can be beautiful and cruel at the same time. People you've lost flicker back into existence for a moment, and then they're gone again. There's a tremendous comfort in knowing those spaces exist, even if just in your mind, mixed with the sadness of being dropped into them randomly and then having them ripped away."
New cut 'Through Emptiness' is online now, and it perfectly encapsulates that somnabulist feel.
