Coldplay Team Up With Jay-Z

New Single Details Emerge

Planet slaying stadium rockers Coldplay have revealed details of their new single ‘Lost’, which will contain a collaboration with US rapper Jay-Z.

Taken from recent mega-hit album ‘Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends’, the track ‘Lost’ was originally a plangent stadium friendly rocker. Reworked with recent Glastonbury headliner Jay-Z, the track will be released as the band’s most unusual single yet.

In an interview with BBC Newsbeat, guitarist Jonny Buckland said of the collaboration “t was great, he did his rap in New York. We know him, he’s an amazing supporter of Coldplay and a fantastic man.”

Writing on the official Coldplay site, singer Chris Martin added that “we are very proud of these and are pretty excited to release them. They have each been the subject of many discussions and arguments.”

“Some might be considered too catchy or too heavy for Coldplay songs but in our minds they complete the Viva La Vida picture.”

Coldplay release new single ‘Lost’ on November 24th.
