Unveiled earlier this year, 'Ghost Stories' saw Coldplay return to mixed reviews.
Clash reviewer Mike Diver wasn't best pleased, noting "how lifeless so much of this material is, how instantly forgettable these songs are."
The band, though, carried on regardless. A wide-ranging international tour saw Coldplay perform to hundreds of thousands of fans, with one special concert due to be captured for posterity.
Two months prior to the album's release, the band unveiled material from 'Ghost Stories' in front of a handful of fans at Sony Studios, Los Angeles.
Grammy-nominated director Paul Dugdale helmed the shoot, which utilises immersive 360-degree and overhead imagery.
Chris Martin: "The 'Ghost Stories' show at Sony Studios was a very special moment for our band. The magic theatre built by our incredible crew with the 360 screens was literally a dream come true. And it was the first time anyone outside of our studio had heard the new songs. This film is basically our original vision for the 'Ghost Stories' album."
The package also contains audio recorded at the band’s rapturously-received shows in London, Sydney, Paris, Cologne, New York and Los Angeles between April and July 2014.
To complete the release, Coldplay have also included eight music videos from the 'Ghost Stories' era, including two never-before-seen films for B-sides 'All Your Friends' and 'Ghost Story', alongside the exclusive Extended Director’s Cut of the 'Magic video' (with a brand new cameo from Peter Fonda).
