Globe trotting indie giants Coldplay have released their new live album as a free download, but fans are complaining that they are having technical difficulties.
Coldplay have had a sensational year. Their album ‘Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends’ soared to the top of the charts in more than 30 countries, transforming the group into one of the biggest bands on the planet.
Sessions with producer Brian Eno were so productive that the band were able to release a follow up mini-album of offcuts. ‘Prospekt’s March’ emerged late last year, and showed just how creative Coldplay are in the studio.

Recent shows in Australia took on a new meaning when they were transformed into fundraisers for victims of the massive Bushfires in the country. Coldplay headed up an all star bill that paid tribute to the bravery of those who fought to save lives in the catastrophe.
As a reward for fans, Coldplay recently announced details of a new live album. Recorded at various stages of their tour it features tracks from throughout their career, and gives a taster of just how engrossing the band are in the live arena.
Titled ‘LeftRightLeftRightLeft’ singer Chris Martin explained recently that with the credit crunch affecting the world, he felt a duty to give his fans something for free. Which is nice of him.
The album is released as a new download today (May 15th) with physical copies set to be given away at future shows. However when fans tried to claim the live album they found that slow download speeds may it difficult to get hold of the material in its entirety.
On Twitter, one user wrote: “OMG WAIT – Has anyone had any success downloading the free Coldplay album?
“I’m getting a big “can’t find server” message.. DAMN!”
Another said: “The page isn’t loading and I need my Coldplay download!! DOWNLOOOOOAD!! :'(“
Coldplay have urged fans to continue trying to download the album if it is unresponsive. Tracklisting is as follows:
