Coldplay have revealed that they are currently planning a massive one off show in the grounds of Knebworth House in Hertfordshire, set to take place next year.
The band revealed the news in an interview with radio presenter Zane Lowe last week. Though no concrete arrangements have been made it is thought that Coldplay are in the advance stages of organizing the show.
Knebworth has a long rock ‘n’ roll history – Led Zeppelin played there in 1979 while Oasis famously played two nights in 1996. Martin explained to the DJ: “We’re trying to book a place that rhymes with Blebworth.
“We realised there’s a lot of people who don’t like us in Britain but, you know, they don’t have to come.”
There is no official date for the Coldplay show at Knebworth.
