'A Head Full of Dreams' due shortly...

It's been an epic tale.

Coldplay began life as a shambling, self-effacing indie group, before rising to stadium success and global sales. New album 'Ghost Stories' was released earlier this year, with the band aiming to produce a quickfire follow up.

Intriguingly, Chris Martin spoke to Zane Lowe on Radio 1 last night (December 3rd) and claimed that this new material could be their final release as a band.

The frontman said: "It's our seventh thing, and the way we look at it, it's like the last Harry Potter book or something like that. Not to say that there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something."

The singer then added: "I have to think of it as the final thing we're doing. Otherwise we wouldn't put everything into it."
