UK based risers Cold Desires introduce themselves with new single ‘Blush’.
The duo – Elina Lin and Joe Falconer – might well be familiar to you, having played key roles in some fantastic projects of late. Still maintaining other prominent activities in music, Cold Desires is an outlet for the work they create together.
Take introductory single ‘Blush’. A moody, atmospheric piece of music that fuses splinters of indie rock with shards of electronics, it’s a defiantly alternative pop song.
Penned during a bleak January day, studio sessions found the pair working alongside producer Matt Glasby.
A fine launching pad for the project, Cold Desires comment:
“It’s a pulsing visit to uncertainty, anxiety and the dreamlike state you can be in when you start to lose your sense of self. When we were writing the lyrics, we really connected over this. Your whole world gets a bit warped and it’s hard to see anything else.”
