Cola are readying a deluxe edition of their album ‘Deep In View’.
The band share DNA with Ought and US Girls, but have an identity all of their own. Debut album ‘Deep In View’ landed last year, with Clash reviewer Rae Niwa noting:
There is a frankness, a brilliant momentum that seizes and sets down all at once. A wake of minimalist rock, Cola is keeping the pace and colliding into soundscapes that say more than technology ever could.
A deluxe edition of the record will land on Friday – February 24th – boasting instrumental takes, demo versions, and other rare ephemera. An alternate version of ‘Landers’ is online now, with Cola also lining up a lengthy UK run for May.
On revisiting the band’s debut album, singer Tim Darcy comments: “I love when I find a record that has many different angles from which it can be approached…”
Tune in now.
