On August 25th, at the height of the recent heatwave in the capital, the sun-drenched Earlham Street, glistening in the heart of London’s Covent Garden, rang clear with the sounds of rising Irish songwriter Sample Answer, as he performed as part of Farah’s exclusive in-store event, presented in association with Clash.
Despite the imposing temperatures, the intimate Farah store was packed with eager customers, whose shopping experience was soundtracked by the acoustic accompaniment of Sample Answer. Fresh from hot-footing between festival stages across the summer, he treated those present to a set of recent material including current Clash favourite 'Toxic Blues', stripped back and powerfully delivered to an audience that kept themselves hydrated with the free-flowing cocktails courtesy of Jägermeister.
