Update… Update… Update…
The inaugural Clash Saturday Social, held at the Notting Hill Arts Club’s RoTa afternoon on December 13, has been blessed by an addition to its already come-along-you bill.
Already starring live – alongside DJs from Clash, Fear And Records, No Pain In Pop and Holy Roar – are Manchester oddball-poppers Cats In Paris, playing support to our Secret Headliners (to be revealed the week before the Saturday afternoon show). Now, we’re pleased to confirm the appearance of the superb Sunset Cinema Club (pictured).
Originally forming in 2001, Sunset Cinema Club (Dom, Greg and John) have been building a fanbase through a series of attention-stealing live performances, with onlookers comparing their energy to that of Pixies or Fugazi, even. NME once called their sound ‘jitterpunk’ (hopefully not as scary as the Judderman), and fans include Huw Stephens and Steve Lamacq.
