CLASH will be joining forces with multi award-winning barbershop NŪDO on Saturday 20th August for a midsummer day party.
Celebrating their 2nd birthday, NŪDO founder Nick Barford has pushed aside the obstacles of lockdowns and restrictions, forming a space that bridges the gap between editorial and hairstyling. Extending itself further as a studio, NŪDO has become a creative hub for Barford’s extensive work in the industry, spanning across models, athletes, performers and fashion leaders.
Selector duties fall in the hands of Nico, honing in on his North London upbringing that saw the dj immersed in an eclectic range of sounds and influences. Seamlessly weaving between the uplifting energies of hip-hop, afrobeat and garage, his ‘Locked ‘N Loaded’ mixes have lead Nico to support the likes of Big Zuu and AJ Tracey, hitting the heavy-weight stages of Outlook and We Out Here Festival. Expect high-octane blends that platform both voices of the legendary and those of the future.
The decks will also be graced by savvy CLASH resident DJ Sky, tapping into the forward-thinking basslines of amapiano, grime and R’n’B. Previously soundtracking our East London events held at Ace Hotel and The Curtain, the riser is no stranger to a CLASH crowd, drawn towards the refined and unexpected.
Kicking off at 4PM, CLASH Presents NŪDO 2nd Birthday will take place at Hackney Downs Studios, E8 2BT.
