An awesome new snowboarding event has been announced, with the launch of the Oakley Jib-Vid competition in Mayrhofen, Austria and to further enhance Clash Club and Oakley’s partnership on live music in the UK, Clash will be hosting the closing party for this Oakley sponsored event.
Jib Vid is a chance for stars of the slope to show off your skills in front of the most discerning audience of all – the best of the European snowboarding community. Oakley Jib-Vid is a unique competition open to teams of three, to pull some gnarly 180’s and capture the result on video. The videos are entered into a comp and judged on the final night at the closing party hosted by Clash.
After the jubilant winners are announced the Clash DJ’s will take to the stage to get the shapes from the slopes pulled on the dancefloor, before headline live act Devils Gun take the night to a rocking breaks filled climax.
Sadly entry is already closed, but to rub salt in the wounds Clashmusic.com can gleefully inform you that the top prize is a tasty €2250 for the winning team.
Set in the gorgeous Ziller river valley, Mayrhofen is one of the top destinations for snowsports in Europe.
