Clash unveils it's Denim Issue today as the latest issue of the magazine goes on sale with The xx on our cover.
"If ever a band, perceived by those within the music industry to be globally ubiquitous, needs reminding that new listeners are still discovering them, they need only spend two minutes scanning YouTube. At the time of writing, a look at an extended version of The xx’s ‘Intro’ – you know, the song of a thousand syncs, or thereabouts – reveals comments like “I finally found it” (well done, you) and “This song made my cereal taste better” (delicious!). Beside the usual array of those noting what brought them to the page, a rather more aggressive, albeit humorously so, post: “Anyone who disliked this deserves a dick slap right in the face.” Better duck, all three hundred and eighty of you."

Also in the issue are interviews with Flying Lotus, Band Of Horses, John Cale, Lisa Marie Presley, The Sex Pistols and Splashh while our regular features see Tim Burgess, Eugene McGuinness, Richard Hawley, Elbow's Guy Garvey, Local Natives, John Coltrane and Dave Clarke make an appearance. We also have all the latest music news, album reviews and fashion, film and technology coverage for the month ahead.
