Clark has unveiled a new ‘Iradelphic’ inspired short film directed by The Vikings.
Out now, ‘Iradelphic’ is one of Clark’s most beautifully refined statements to date. Partially inspired by a growing love of live performance, the album fuses glitchy electronics to minimalist piano lines and more.
Wonderfully evocative music, film team The Vikings have stepped in to give ‘Iradelphic’ the visual accompaniment it deserves.
Using album cut ‘Black Stone’ the pair have completed a long form video which is heavy on heart wrenching pathos. The Vikings: “We’ve always loved Clark’s music. The same clandestine force runs all the way from Clarence Park through to Iradelphic: a beautiful and eternal undercurrent that will continue to supersede classification. We wanted to highlight this timeless aspect of his Clark’s craft.”
For his part, Clark has been bowled over by the visual response to his music. “I’ve been wanting to work with Xander and Bjoern for a while now. They totally nailed the look, narrative and mood, with the help of a little bit of English snow and some wonderfully disgusting insects. I can’t really think of anything else like this film, which is obviously a really good sign”.
