The world isn't the most rational of places at the best of times… and these are far from the best of times.
It's something that Civil Civic have responded to, allowing it to fuel their new album 'The Test'.
Out on October 14th through Gross Domestic Product, it tackles big subjects – think post-crash politics, and capitalism in a historical context.
The duo comment: "The poor are angry, the rich are empty and paranoid, so the poor riot, and the rich celebrate themselves. It’s too much for any sane mind. It’s also about forgetting that stuff and conjuring insane images in your head, going wherever you want in the whole inner universe."
Clash is able to premiere new track (and video!) 'The Hunt'. It's uncompromising in its outlook, the dissonance reflecting a worldview that is close to shattering.
