North London figure Chy Cartier returns with new single ‘Like Magic’.
Last year’s epic ‘BOSSED UP’ single became a true breakout moment for this multi-faceted artist, and she featured prominently on those all-important Tips For ’24 lists.
Produced by GW, new single ‘Like Magic’ ups the ante once more. Out now, it’s a slick return, one that finds Che Cartier standing out from the crowd. Embracing her individuality, the lyrics carry a fierce trait of defiance.

‘Like Magic’ explores what it’s like to be an anomaly in this day and age. It’s easy to be peer pressured and follow what the crowd is doing hence why I speak on music “saving me from a lot” – it’s a shout out to all my dedication, focus and grind and lastly a middle finger to doubters. I speak on how important family is to me especially two very important women in my life who are the catalysts for my work ethic and determination..“mummy’s one daughter” and “my nanny”.
