Scottish group issue new statement...

CHVRCHES have issued a full statement following recent collaborator Marshmello's decision to work with Tyga and Chris Brown.

The Scottish group worked with the EDM producer on 'Here With Me', developing a creative relationship.

However Marshmello has followed this with new single 'Light It Up', featuring Tyga and Chris Brown - both of whom have been accused of violence towards women.

CHVRCHES have issued a statement expressing their "disappointment" in his decision, saying they are "upset, confused" by the release.

The band added: “We like and respect Mello as a person but working with people who are predators and abusers enables, excuses and ultimately tacitly endorses that behaviour. That is not something we can or will stand behind.”
