CHVRCHES Share ‘The Bones Of What You Believe’ 10th Anniversary Edition

With demos, live cuts, and an unheard song...

CHVRCHES have shared the 10th anniversary edition of ‘The Bones Of What You Believe’.

The album was released in 2013, a synth-pop opus that contained wall-to-wall bangers. Very much a breakout moment for the three-piece on both sides of the Atlantic, it’s a record that altered their lives irrevocably.

Out now, the expanded edition of the band’s ever-electrifying debut album contains some juicy morsels. Sifting through the crates for its 10th birthday, CHVRCHES have unearthed a series of live recordings from Ancienne Belgique, some demos, and an unheard song – ‘City On Fire’.

Available digitally, ‘The Bones Of What You Believe’ is also coming back to vinyl and compact disc, available on a host of formats: 1xLP clear vinyl, 2xLP black vinyl with die cut sleeve, 2xCD and Digital formats.

Alongside the 2xLP format is a 7” vinyl featuring 2 unheard demos of ‘The Mother We Share’.

What’s that…? Two demos…?

CHVRCHES have blended these early versions with the finished single to present an insight into the song’s evolution, which you can find below.

The final word goes to CHVRCHES’ own Lauren Mayberry:

“It feels quite strange that ‘Bones…’ is almost a decade old. In some ways, it’s like it just happened, but also like that era was a lifetime ago. We are very grateful to all the fans who gave that album a special place in their heart, and still show us so much kindness today.”

Tune in now.
