Christine and the Queens has shared new single ‘rein dire’.
The French artist’s new album ‘Redcar les adorables étoiles’, its release – and attendant live shows – halted by a knee injury sustained during rehearsals.
With Chris now on the mend, the star plays Cirque d’Hiver in Paris on November 9th and 10th, unveiling material from the project’s release on November 11th. A re-worked London date is to follow.
His new song ‘rien dire’ is typically wonderful, a classy, astute piece of synth-pop that embodies the alien sensuality Christine and the Queens has long been known for. The blurred vocals sit alongside distorted electronics, recalling those Prince slow jams, with Chris allowing his voice to move between the forefront and the background.
