Christine and the Queens links with 070 Shake for new single ‘True love’.
The French avant pop auteur will release new album ‘PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE’ on June 9th, with Chris set to act as curator for this year’s Meltdown Festival at London’s Southbank Centre.
The new album inaugurates a fresh era in his work, and it features some intriguing collaborators – including American icon Madonna.
Christine And The Queens aligned with 070 Shake on ‘True love’, a cry from the heart that seeks out connection. Synth pop rendered in an exquisite fashion, the song is a plea to the angel of light – a figure who also featured during those Redcar shows – to “take me higher…”
Transgressive songwriting that yearns for escape, it comes equipped with a striking self-directed video shot in Los Angeles.
