It's a bold statement from the Glasgow newcomer...

Glasgow prodigy Chlobocop has shared her outrageous new single '999'.

The teenage artist grew up in the East End of Glasgow, an area that contains some of the densest poverty in the United Kingdom.

Addicted to rap and hip-hop from a young age, she's gradually fused her identity, matching rolling trap production to vocals that swing between rap and soul.

New single '999' is the perfect intro for the outrageous artist, self-styled as "Lil Red Riding from the hood..."

Completely addictive, it comes equipped with a video that finds Chlobocop leering at the camera with a cop car behind her.

She explains: “Man, I want this song to inspire people that think there’s really no other life out there for them!”

Tune in now.
