Red Hot Chilli Peppers, No Doubt and The Offspring are just some of the big names rushing to help punk star Allen Shellenberger of Lit in his battle with a brain tumor.
The former drummer with punk pop group Lit was diagnosed with a grade four malignant brain tumour over the summer, and is currently undergoing expensive radiotherapy treatment.
Lit were stars in the late 90s, best known for their smash hit single ‘My Own Worst Enemy’. Since then though, their star has waned and Shellenberger is in need of help to fund specialist treatment.
The Red Hot Chilli Peppers have signed a copy of their ‘Stadium Arcadium’ album, which will be put up for auction alongside memorabilia from No Doubt and The Offspring. The bands will be joined by former James Bond Pierce Brosnan, who will auction one of his paintings.
