Folktronica guru James Yuill is about to head off on the Chess Club singles tour, and will be joined by the sublime talents of Post War Years and The Wave Machines.
London based signer Yuill has gained a cult following with his spectral blend of soft balladry and head spinning electronica. A completely natural mix of man and machine, Yuill’s debut album was released last year to widespread acclaim.
Joining the singer on the bill are fellow Chess Club signing Post War Years and The Wave Machines.
Rapidly rising label Chess Club has a hotly tipped roster, with The Wave Machines’ lo-fi disco set to be a mind bending, hip shaking experience for anyone who catches the tour.
Taking in a number of intimate venues, this line up is boosted by the presence of Post War Years who blend massive beats to spiky guitar lines.
