Chase and Status have announced a new album, ‘2 Ruff Vol. 1’, set to release on October 27th.
Chase and Status are representing the new wave of jungle and DBNB, well known for their singles’ Baddadan’ with Bou, featuring Irah, Flowdan, Trigga and Takura on vocals and ‘Disconnect’ with Becky Hill. Both tracks are all-out anthems that took over many stages and sound systems during 2023’s festival season. The announcement follows their recent Boiler Room set and single ‘Liquor and Cigarettes’ with Hedex and Ardee. Chase and Status have already had many iconic collaborations with artists such as Dizzee Rascal, Rihanna, Snoop Dogg, Major Lazer and Rita Ora.
‘2 Ruff Vol.1’ treads the heels of the 2022 release ‘What Came Before’, which reached No. 4 on the charts and led to many sold-out headlining shows. Having reached 1.8 billion streams, being nominated for a Brit Award and being the first UK electronic group to headline the O2 Arena in London, The Other Stage at Glastonbury, and Reading and Leeds Festival, Chase and Status (aka Will Kennard and Saul Milton) show no signs of losing their winning streak. As well as an album announcement, Chase and Status will be going on tour playing London, Manchester and Cardiff in early 2024.
‘2 Ruff Vol. 1’ will be released on October 27th, pre-order it online now.
