As he approaches his 50th birthday, Paul Weller is set to launch a special book of photographs celebrating his musical career which has lasted over 30 years.
Titled “A Thousands Things” the book collects images taken by some of Weller’s favourite photographers. The Modfather has always paid special attention to his imagery, from his early days in The Jam to his present day status as the elder statesman of Britpop.
Sifting through thousands of images, Weller tells the visual story of his career, from The Jam through The Style Council and onto his lengthy solo career.
Limited to just 2,000 copies (each signed by Paul Weller himself) the book also comes with a an exclusive white label of The Jam’s original demo.
The book will be launched with a special event at the Paul Smith Boutique in London on June 2nd.
