Champion, Four Tet, Skrillex, and Naisha align on new single ‘Talk To Me’.
It’s set to be a big weekend for Four Tet, who plays host to North London venue the Drumsheds tomorrow (November 2nd).
Amid a frenetic burst of material – Four Tet’s studio album ‘Three’ landed earlier this year – the producer has also found time to take part in a slew of collaborations.
Out now, ‘Talk To Me’ is led by Champion, with Four Tet and Skrillex assisting on production. Moving between sharp-edged UK funky percussive ticks, cavernous low-end, and finessed synth work, it feels like a very sympathetic union of studio equals.
The lush vocal comes from Naisha, who adds a totally different energy to the song, one that ties it together neatly.
