West London rap icon Central Cee gets introspective on new single ‘I Will’.
It’s been an incredible 12 months for the UK rapper, who scored a colossal hit with record-breaking Dave team-up ‘Sprinter’. Bulldozing all obstacles in front of him, Central Cee is taking his sound global – just look at the recent crowds in Australia.
Popping up at the Super Bowl – the only UK rapper in attendance, actually – Central Cee delivers a wistful side-step on new single ‘I Will’.
Showcasing his introspective side, there’s still a sly charm in his word play. With its repeated refrain – “If nobody will, I will…” – the song has a quiet urgency, while Cench can’t resist a few larger-than-life bars: “You didn’t put on YSL just to go bed all by yourself.”
His latest smash, it follows last year’s ‘Entrapeneur’.
