DIY indie pop auteur Cavetown has shared details of his new live streaming project.
The English artist – real name Robin Skinner – built his profile through sharing home recordings on BandCamp, building an international profile.
Snapped up by a major label, his new album 'Sleepyhead' lands on March 27th, yet it was still largely constructed in his bedroom.
With coronavirus curtailing his touring opportunities, Cavetown has seized the day, launching a series of live streaming projects.
Featuring acoustic sets, painting sessions, and a virtual art gallery, it looks genuinely inventive.
Broadcast on his social media channels, the run-down looks as follows:
Friday, March 20th – Special Surprise – 7am PST / 2pm GMT
Tuesday, March 23th – YouTube acoustic livestream show – 10am PST / 5pm GMT
Friday, March 27th – Instagram live ‘Sleepyhead’ listening party – 12pm PST / 7pm GMT
Wednesday, April 1st – Paint With Me – 3am PST / 3pm GMT
